50 Years of Driving Performance – Milestone 1992

Mercedes-Benz was a powerhouse between 1988 and 1993, scoring 50 DTM victories during those years. The AMG 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II was a big part of the success, having finished 16 of 24 races in the 1992 season and taking the first three positions in the driver standings. To top it off, Klaus Ludwig won the first DTM championship title for Mercedes-Benz behind the wheel of the AMG 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II and Ellen Lohr became the only woman to win a DTM race.
